An AI agent marketplace: share and install agents and apps

Publish a tool, a toolbox, an agent or a whole app to the marketplace, free, as a public listing anyone can import and edit or a private one they can use but not open. Install what others shared: a wizard shows what you get and where it sends data, asks for the credentials and choices the creator left to you, and makes your own copy in one step. New versions are taken in place.

What is an AI agent marketplace?

An AI agent marketplace is a catalogue of ready-made agents and agent apps that other teams can add to their own workspace: a support assistant that already knows how to hand off to a person, a store assistant that looks up orders, an internal help desk. Instead of building every agent from an empty canvas, you start from one that works and adapt it.

On AgentRow a listing is a real, versioned agent or app, not a screenshot of one. Its workflow, tools and settings travel with it, and credentials never do.

How does sharing work?

An owner or admin shares a tool, a toolbox, an agent or an app from the Marketplace page. AgentRow packages it as it is today: the agent's settings, its tools and their per-agent settings, its published workflow, and for an app every agent it routes to and the app's own tools. Nothing of your organisation goes with it: no ids, no credentials, no allowed origins.

Before the listing is made you choose the install fields from what the configuration contains. A credential is always asked of the installer and becomes an encrypted secret of their copy. A plain value, such as a model, a prompt, a widget text, a URL or a {{config.name}} variable of your own, is shipped as it is or asked, with your value offered first. A knowledge base attached to the agent travels only if you tick it, and installers can attach their own.

A listing is public, so installers get an editable copy, or private, so they get a sealed copy they can use and attach to their own agents but never open or change. An AgentRow reviewer approves each version before it goes live.

How does installing work?

The install wizard shows what you get, every outside host the tools send data to, what it needs (a provider key for a model shipped as it is, a connected account for a channel step), then the fields, then a review. Everything is created together or not at all: your own tools in their own toolbox, your own agents with their workflows published, your own app with a fresh public id and secret, and copies of the knowledge that came along, chunked and ready.

Knowledge searched by meaning is indexed with your embedding provider first, and the agent is published by itself when the index is ready. Every connected account is optional: a Shopify store is put on the app's workflow when you link one, and a Slack or webhook step left without an account waits in a draft. The installation's page keeps the fields editable and lists the records it made.

What happens when the creator publishes a new version?

Your copy keeps running the version you have. You are notified with the changelog and update when you choose, from the installation's page, in one step or not at all. The answers you gave are kept and only what is new is asked. What you have not changed is updated; what you and the creator both changed is shown side by side, and you keep yours or take theirs, record by record. A changed workflow arrives as a draft version of your agent or app, which keeps running as it is until you publish the draft.

What about selling?

Everything on the marketplace is free today. Paid listings, by subscription or one-time purchase, are planned: buyers would install a sealed copy, creators would be paid through Stripe and keep 80% of each sale, and one-time buyers would get updates for 12 months. Ratings, publisher profiles and public listing pages on agentrow.io come with it. If you want to sell agents, tell us what you would list through the contact form and pick Marketplace creator.

Frequently asked questions

Can an installer copy or change a private listing?

No. A private listing installs a sealed copy: the installer can use it, attach it to their own agents and apps and set the fields the creator left to them, but cannot open, edit or export its workflow, instructions or tool definitions. A public listing gives an editable copy.

Will creators see my conversations?

No. An installed copy runs in your organisation, on your plan and model keys. The creator sees how many organisations installed the listing, not who or what was said.

What happens when the creator publishes a new version?

Your installation keeps running the version you have. You are notified with the changelog and update when you choose; the update keeps your answers, asks only for what is new, and brings a changed workflow as a draft you publish when ready.

Can I share an app, not just an agent?

Yes. An app listing carries its workflow, every agent it routes to and the app's own tools; the installer gets a fresh public id and secret, connects their own channels, such as the chat widget, a Slack workspace or a Shopify store, and receives hand-offs in their own inbox. Selling, as well as sharing, comes later.
